Character Info

Personality: The first thing you'd likely notice about Vespera's personality is her obvious self-confidence and composure. She was taught from a young age about the importance of proper etiquette, which her speech tends to reflect. Despite that, another big part of her personality is sass. She knows to hold her tongue around her superiors and elders (for the most part anyway), but anyone who's not her boss or her grandfather or the like might be subjected to mockery, scorn, or cheek, if an opening is left for it and Vespera is around. Nevertheless, she probably wouldn't quite be classified as "mean"-- she's certainly more on the good side of the moral spectrum, even if she might seem insensitive at times. She isn't caustic 24/7, after all.
Engage her in a debate or even an argument, and you'll find that she's very practiced in avoiding getting emotional over it. She rarely raises her voice, especially if someone else raised theirs first, as she sees this as accepting some sort of challenge that shouldn't even be acknowledged. However, she actually has a fairly short temper that she desperately tries to rein in and hide, with varying degrees of success. This can make it seem like she simply snaps at a moment's notice, when she's really been hiding boiling anger just under the surface for some time-- some people attribute this to her affinity, which she finds extremely irksome. If she is really angry and unable to hide it, that's one of the rare times she'll raise her voice, which she may be secretly embarrassed about afterwards.

Dislikes: Awkwardness, being socially unacceptable for any reason, dirtying herself, crass humor, damaging her carefully filed claws, violence, losing her temper, crying

Backstory: Apparently, Vespera isn't from Kitter Keep. She's moving in, at least for some time. She hasn't really said or made known anything else about where she's from or what she's been doing up til now-- but that's probably because there isn't any particular reason to go on about your life story to random strangers.

Random Facts and Such:
● Pays a lot of attention to her posture, and is very poised
● Not very strong, but she can run fast and jump far (though not particularly high)
● Good singer, except if she has to hit the really high notes
● Calls people "darling" both ironically and unironically
● Can hold grudges for quite a long time, sometimes to the point of being petty
● Does not take embarassment well at all
● Due to her abilities to keep her calm and not get emotional under stress, and overall eloquence, Vespera is a very good liar-- she's not particularly inclined to lie, however

Character Actions
Meeting a new kitter: Likely to be polite and not say anything out of the ordinary. ("Hello, my name is Vespera. How are you?")
Meeting new species: Unless it's very strange or incredible, she might not even pay it heed. She wouldn't touch it without being sure it's safe, either.
Being surprised: She's not the screaming type for the most part, so she'll probably stiffin up, turn her head towards the source of the surprise (if she's turned away), and widen her eyes.
Being touched: She's not okay with being touched without permission, unless it's obviously necessary (e.g. keeping her from falling or something). Absolutely socially unacceptable by her understanding
Actions when sad: Will try her absolute hardest not to cry in public, as she believes it's unsightly and rude. If she must cry, she'll at least try to make it quiet and out of sight of anyone.
